The Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria (WITCAN) has issued a Statement on Nigeria's 2023 general election.

The association made its view known to the public through its spoke person, Dr. Okhue Iboi; Daily Independent reports.

WITCAN statement backs the Muslim-Muslim ticket of the All Progressive Congress (APC). According to the association, a Muslim-Muslim ticket is not bad for the leadership of the country since one faith leadership has never been a problem in Nigeria.

Muslim-Muslim Ticket: Witches and Wizards Association of Nigeria (WITCAN) has issued a Statement on Nigeria's 2023 general election.

Dr. Okhue added that the APC presidential flag bearer, Mr. Ahmed Tinubu will replicate the record-breaking impact he made in Lagos on the whole of Nigeria.

"Tinubu is not just an ordinary man. He is a man who sees beyond his nose. When he sleeps, he would be told what to do and how to go about what he set out to do. I would not be surprised if he was told what to do, before settling down on his choice of running mate." The association reiterated.

Dr. Okhue  also cited Nigeria's 1993 election when Abiola-Kingibe won the country's presidential.

Recall that Nigeria is preparing for the 2023 election. There are three candidates at the top of the presidential bid. Ahmed Tinubu of the ruling All Progressive Congress, Peter Obi of the Labor Party, and former Nigerian vice president, Atiku Abubakar of the People's Democratic Party.

Mr. Ahmed Tinubu's Ticket has seen controversy following his choice of choosing a fellow Muslim running mate. Nigeria is a country almost equally divided between Christians and Muslims. as a result, the leadership position in the country had always been shared between the two religions.

There had been a rising concern over the consequence of such a decision but the presidential candidate has failed to accept public scrutiny to change his mind. Why many Christians and other religions are worried about the outcome of such a combination, some Nigerians have seen nothing wrong with Muslim-Muslim tickets.

The statement by the Witches/Wizards Association in Nigeria as reported by Daily independent sounds like a thumbs up for APC and their supporters.
