The General Overseer of the Redeem Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has finally revealed why Jesus Christ did not marry.
The great Man of God made this known on Sunday while delivering a sermon at the church headquarters in Ogun State, Nigeria.

Gnostic verses claim Mary Magdalene could have been a close female friend or a wife to Jesus because of her continuous appearance in the scriptures. But these are falsehoods. The Holy Bible and all historic, religious, and traditional evidence prove that Jesus did not marry.

Some suggest it is because He is the Son of God. Nevertheless, Pastor Adeboye made it clear that Jesus Christ failed to marry because of us.
"He chose to suffer loneliness so that you and I would not be lonely", the general overseer reiterated.
The Pastor made it clear that Jesus could have gotten a wife but he decided to be lonely so that "you and I" would not suffer loneliness.
He lived a lowly life so that we would not suffer poverty, and finally suffered and died so that we may have eternal life.
The overseer added that Jesus took the burden of every sickness, pain, suffering, and whatever challenges may come your way.
