A popular Nigerian Pastor, Apostle Chibuzor Chinyere of a Port Harcourt-based church, Omega Power Ministries (OPM), has given out 37 international passports to the youths of his church and its environs.
The pastor said that some of the beneficiaries will travel
out of Nigeria to secure oversea works, while others only receive short-term
visas to obtain education outside Nigeria. The money reportedly come from the
church offerings and tithes.
In a post shared on the pastor's official Facebook page @Chibuzor Gift Chinyere,
the pastor is seen presenting wonderful gifts to young men and women who
appeared to be so excited and happy.
This is not the first time Apostle Chibuzor is engaging in
such a wonderful act of charity. He became popular within and outside Nigeria
because of his numerous charity and philanthropic programs. The pastor has
given a home to many homeless people and sponsored many young people in school.
Pastor Chibuzor stole the heart of Nigeria when he relocated the family of Mr./Mrs. Emmanuel Garba after their daughter, Deborah Emmanuel (a Christian girl), was set ablaze by Islamic mobs in the Northern Nigerian City of Sokoto, who accused her of blasphemy.

The pastor relocated the family from Northern Nigeria to Port Harcourt in Southern Nigeria. He donated a new and rentable estate, cars, and other gifts to the family of Emmanuel.
Apostle Chibuzor had also engaged in offering permanent accommodation and a new life to a veteran Nollywood actor who became homeless after retiring from acting.
Many Nigerian pastors have engaged in several charity works.
Although many of them have chosen to offer help in secret, Pastor Chibuzor’s
public move is a short down to critics who often claim that pastors are not
using tithes and offerings to help the poor.
