The news of the young man's win caused jubilation in his community and across social media platforms as many tapped into "his blessing".
In a video shared by a Twitter user @bod_republic, people are seeing crowding around the betting center to confirm the authenticity of the win. Also in the clip, a computer screen at the sporting center shows the man's N800 stake and his winning upshot.
A crowd of people followed the man from the betting center to the mosque with screams and loud noise, where he sat outside to wash his feet, according to Islamic tradition. To the surprise of everyone, the new millionaire remained calm despite the crowd of mostly ladies gathering around him.
