NPC Ad hoc Staff Recruitment Portal login for the 2023 Census
The National Population Commission (NPC) has opened its job application portal for ad-hoc staff recruitment ahead of the 2023 population and housing census exercise in Nigeria.
The census which is scheduled to take place from 27th October-10th December 2023, requires about 25 million ad-hoc staff, according to the commission.
In its public announcement, through its Twitter page and official website, the National Population Commission, invites eligible Nigerians to apply for NPC employment as ad-hoc staff and as full-time NPC staff.

Qualification for the NPC Job Application
Applicants for NPC Adhoc staff recruitment must meet the following conditions to qualify for the NPC job.
- Applicant must be a Nigerian or has permanent residence in Nigeria.
- Applicant must have all the requirements including NIN and other documents listed below.
- Applicant must be free from other engagements at the time of the commencement of the exercise in 2023.
- Applicant must not provide data that is not authentic.
- Applicant must not be under the age of 18.
- Application is free for all Nigerians who qualify for any of the Adhoc Staff categories.
- Applicants with a functional smartphone have more advantages but everyone can apply.

Items Required During the NPC Job Application Process
- Valid National Identification Number(NIN)
- Valid Phone Number (Remove Number From DND.)
- The device Location Setting Should be on.
- Valid Email Address
- Valid Educational Certificate
- Functional/operational bank accounts. NPC does not accept student/NYSC bank account numbers.
How to Apply as NPC Ad hoc Staff | Step-by-step tips for NPC Adhoc Staff Application 2022/2023

Note: NPC warns any applicant who provides fake information either as a document or personal data would be disqualified from taking part in the exercise.

3. log in to the registration portal for the NPC job.

5. Select "Start as Ah-hoc Staff". If you are an old applicant, you can select "Resume application".
6. Click on each of the boxes to show you have all the listed documents/requirements, and proceed.
7. Select the next tick box to accept the disclaimer "I HAVE READ, UNDERSTOOD AND ACCEPT THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS." to proceed.

Note: Application ID may popup drop any of the application stages. Ensure that you copy and save it because you will need it later or during the interview.
8. After a successful application, a confirmation SMS will be forwarded to the phone number you submitted.
9. Take note of the application ID. You can copy it into a piece of paper or screenshot it into your device because you will need to provide it during screening.
10. Again login to the homepage of the official application portal and select, "Check Application Status" to confirm that your application was successful.

You have successfully applied for the NPC job. Take note of your data, especially the application ID, and ensure you provide accurate information.
Note: During the application process, you can click save and close the application if you want to continue the application later. In that case, you will only be to resume the application whenever you log in to the e-portal to continue your application.
The commission will invite qualified applicants for screening/interview before the commencement of the census in late 2023.
